Annual Citizen Diplomacy Celebration

Please join us for our “Annual Citizen Diplomacy Celebration” on March 23, 2023 at 6pm-9pm at the Rosenberg Skyroom at the University of the Incarnate Word. The evening will feature live musical entertainment, dinner, and drinks.

The program will include the presentation of the 2022 “International Leadership Award” to Mayor Ron Nirenberg in recognition of his many contributions to promoting citizen diplomacy in our community.

​

We will also announce this year’s “Irma Reyes Citizen Diplomacy Scholarship” recipient. This award was established to honor the work, support, and dedication of Ms. Irma Reyes to SACIV for over 30 years and aims to support the education of students pursuing an international related degree at a local university.

Through this event, we look forward to celebrating our members and community partners in recognition of the crucial role they play in supporting our work.
