Richard (Rick) Rayne is a Senior International Business Advisor at the UTSA SBDC International Trade Center. Rick has been working in the international business field for over 30 years. He spent many of those years in international sales at FedEx advising and assisting companies large and small growing their exports and imports via marketing, sales, and logistics opportunities and situations. 

 

Since August of 2020, Rick has been employed at the University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA) within the Valdez Institute for Economic Development’s UTSA SBDC International Trade Center.  Rick’s focus is to provide one-on-one international trade advising services and customize international business plans for small and medium size companies throughout Texas.  Rick has a Master of International Management (M.I.M.) degree from Thunderbird School of Global Management along with NASBITE International’s Certified Global Business Professional (CGBP) credential which is widely recognized as the standard of excellence in expertise and professionalism in international trade.
